A Cornucopia of Fall Color Can be Yours This Season

In an average year, the dog days of summer would have found most of us a stranger to our garden. That was not the case this time, with the abundance of rain and fair weather Texas enjoyed last summer. Flowers which would normally have been struggling for life continued to perform magnificently. However, don’t be lulled, into believing that they will last forever. If you want a cornucopia of color this fall, you’re going to have to think ahead to the pleasant days ahead.

As temperatures begin to cool, spice up those weak spots in the garden with fall chrysanthemums. Mix complimentary colors into your garden to extend the life of the periwinkle, caladium and other summer plants which will wane as the evenings begin to cool this October.
